Held at the beautiful Exchange Hotel in Cardiff, the evening brought together supporters, friends, and members of the community for a fantastic night of celebration and fundraising in support of REST – Repatriation Services Trust.

From 3rd–5th May 2019, supporters of REST took part in our annual charity cycle ride, raising vital funds to support the work of Repatriation Services Trust (REST).

The challenge began in Tenby, South Wales, with participants cycling approximately 120 miles over two days before finishing the ride at Tiny Rebel Brewery in Rogerstone.

The event brought together a fantastic group of cyclists who embraced the challenge, demonstrating great determination and team spirit along the way. Throughout the weekend, participants were fully supported with organised transport, meals, and accommodation to ensure everyone could focus on completing the ride.

The charity cycle ride was a huge success and helped raise important funds that enable REST to continue supporting families during extremely difficult times.

On 29th September 2018, REST proudly hosted our Charity Ball at the stunning Exchange Hotel in Mount Stuart Square, Cardiff Bay.

The evening began at 5:30pm, with guests arriving for drinks and photographs in the hotel foyer, setting the tone for what would become a truly memorable night. The celebrations officially opened with a fantastic performance from the Cardiff Blues Male Voice Choir, who sang from the balcony in the Grand Hall, creating an incredible atmosphere for everyone in attendance.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a wonderful programme of entertainment which included a lively drag performance, a fantastic live band, as well as an exciting auction and raffle.

The night was filled with laughter, music, and celebration, bringing together friends, supporters, and members of the community in support of REST. The event proved to be a tremendous success, raising vital funds while also helping to introduce and promote the work of the charity.

On Sunday 5th July 2018, REST hosted Restival at Tiny Rebel Brewery in Newport, bringing together supporters, friends, and members of the local community for a fantastic day of celebration.

The event was a great success, filled with music, food, drinks, fireworks, and plenty of fun and games for everyone to enjoy. Guests were entertained throughout the day with live performances from local musicians, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

It truly was a wonderful event with laughter, great company, and a fantastic community spirit, making it a memorable occasion for everyone involved.

We would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the event, helping to make Restival 2018 such an enjoyable and successful day.

Comments such as “What an amazing night” and “We can’t wait for the next event” were heard throughout the evening, reflecting just how much everyone enjoyed the occasion.

The night proved to be a tremendous success, raising over £12,000 in support of REST (Repatriation Services Trust) and the vital services the charity provides.

We would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the event, helping to make the first REST Winter Ball such a wonderful and successful evening.

Our very first fundraising event took place on 29th July 2017, with a charity football match between Tom’s friends and workmates, bringing together teams from Cardiff and Chester for a fantastic day of sport and fundraising.

The event created a brilliant atmosphere, with supporters enjoying cakes, a BBQ, a raffle, and an auction alongside the match itself. It was a wonderful day that brought friends, family, and supporters together in support of REST.

After a competitive and entertaining game, the Chester team came out on top, beating the Cardiff side. Despite the friendly rivalry on the pitch, the day was filled with laughter, great sportsmanship, and plenty of fun for everyone involved.

The event proved to be an incredible success, raising an amazing £11,000, providing a fantastic start to REST’s fundraising efforts.
