Our very first fundraising event took place on 29th July 2017, with a charity football match between Tom’s friends and workmates, bringing together teams from Cardiff and Chester for a fantastic day of sport and fundraising.

The event created a brilliant atmosphere, with supporters enjoying cakes, a BBQ, a raffle, and an auction alongside the match itself. It was a wonderful day that brought friends, family, and supporters together in support of REST.

After a competitive and entertaining game, the Chester team came out on top, beating the Cardiff side. Despite the friendly rivalry on the pitch, the day was filled with laughter, great sportsmanship, and plenty of fun for everyone involved.

The event proved to be an incredible success, raising an amazing £11,000, providing a fantastic start to REST’s fundraising efforts.
